Verstappen has now won at 27 different Formula 1 circuits

His first Singapore victory erased one of the few remaining gaps in his record.

Max Verstappen’s Singapore win was more than another victory in his season. It ended his long wait for a win at Marina Bay and brought his tally to 27 different circuits conquered in Formula 1.

The Dutchman needed 10 attempts to win for the first time at the street circuit. Before this year’s race, Singapore was the current venue where he had made the most starts without a victory, despite several podiums and front-row starts.

Only Lewis Hamilton has won at more different circuits, with 31. The statistic reflects the breadth of Verstappen’s success over the years — and how one particular weekend can remain elusive even for a multiple world champion.
